That project kicked off a lifelong obsession with cars, from the import craze of the 1990s to SCCA racing. These days, the obsession looks a little like a collecting problem. His garage includes a Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, a 1966 Jaguar E-Type, and his beloved BMW E89 sDrive35i.

When he is not coordinating the day, he tests ceramic coatings and puts Griot's Garage products through their paces. He likes them so much that the rest of the team jokes that Griot's should put him on the payroll.
