The standalone service has its own vehicle categories. Full-size pickups use the $89 headlight tier, even when another detailing package groups a standard pickup with SUVs.
Standalone mobile service
No detailing package is required. Reserve about 60 minutes of service per vehicle. Two headlight-only vehicles reserve 120 minutes.

With an exterior detail
Already booking exterior cleaning? Choose the headlight add-on with your detail. It adds about 45 minutes, before the coating's drying period.

Choose one headlight option per vehicle. The add-on is for an exterior detail; it is not an extra charge on the standalone service.
Lens preparation matters
Restoration works on the exterior lens surface. Removing the oxidation is part of the job. The prepared surface also needs protection when that work is finished.
CERAKOTE's oxidation-removing wipes address the weathered surface layer before the lenses are refined.
Progressively finer sanding prepares the exterior lens and addresses deeper oxidation and light surface scratches. A frosted appearance during preparation is an intermediate stage.
After the lenses and surrounding areas are completely dry, the ceramic coating goes on. It improves the appearance of the prepared lens and adds UV protection.

Start with the actual lens condition
This service targets exterior oxidation and surface haze. Preparation can also improve light surface scratches. The result depends on what is happening to the lens.
Cloudiness inside the housing can remain after the outside is treated. An exterior coating cannot repair a cracked lens or remove moisture trapped inside the assembly. A failed bulb needs a separate repair. CERAKOTE's FAQ explains why internal oxidation may remain after exterior restoration.
If you cannot tell whether the haze is inside or outside, contact us before booking. Describe what you are seeing so we can discuss the condition of your headlights.
Plan around when you next need to drive
Keep the vehicle parked and the headlights dry for at least 60 minutes after the ceramic coating is applied. Do not drive or expose the treated lenses to moisture during that period.
This is separate from the approximately one-hour standalone service appointment. The drying requirement also applies when restoration is an add-on. Avoid washing the headlights during this period.
Aftercare follows the manufacturer's application instructions.
